“The only worse thing than being blind is having sight but no vision”.
In my humanitarian role, I serve as Philanthropy/Goodwill Ambassador for Embracing the World Kenya, where we spearhead The White C(r)ane Project initiative in Kenya amongst other humanitarian projects. Advocating the voice of the Visually Impaired and amplifying this initiative to create awareness to provide free white canes, employment and free vaccines to the blind during the pandemic are my key commitments to this milestone project. 25,000+ white canes are being distributed to Visually Impaired persons across all counties in Kenya while we continue to fundraise for additional white canes to cater to blind beneficiaries in need of these assistive devices.

See Through My World
“I was privileged to write, compose and sing the Theme Song - “See Through My World” and perform with Visually Impaired artists in this music video. This song was conceptualised for The White C(r)ane Project to showcase the talents and aspirations of Visually Impaired persons in our society. Directed by Peak Focus Visuals, the song depicts the difficulty a blind person undergoes in daily life without an assistive device, and how the “White Cane” enables them to manouevre independently with dignity and freedom.
